CALLING ALL NANNIES/MOTHERS

Background:

I am (was) a full nanny now I’m back to school but not working is killing me so I’ve decided to stop schooling until I can afford to get my degree.

I have years of Anny experience and partially

(because I’m dropping out lmao) studied on an ECE degree.

(obviously I wouldn’t put that on a resume but I know my stuff.)

My hourly rates are $17/h I’m usually working no more than 5-6h a day but a family has reached out to me and wants me for 12h a day. It’s a family of 3 boys

I’ve worked with multiple children before but usually spaced in age. My last family I had a 2y, and a 6m. It was pie.

Basically that’s almost 4K a month.

I could afford to move out of my current $725 roommate apartment, and get my own luxury one for $1k. I estimate $1.8k going entirely to bills including groceries and the rest as spending.

I’d put $1000 to savings.

So in a Years time I’d have saved $10-12k depending on if I dipped into my savings or not. Also my bank will double my savings if they are untouched in a year.

It basically sets me up in the exact way I need it.

It’s a win win, I love children and the job I work now is my dream job so I rarely have bad days. I also love working with smaller children because there’s so much room for growth and learning.

Ex:

I am able to speak with them in German and teach them German so they will have a second language as an admirable trait.

I’ve worked with a 2 year old girl and I taught her how to count to 10 in 5 different languages which was super fun and I also potty trained her and was able to watch her grow and hit all kinds of milestones (I also had her for 12h, some days 14h)

I have a passion for childcare and I don’t tire from constant cleaning, playing, running around, etc. I hope to have 4 children myself, all close in age.

So that being said my question is

Are there any nannies who are working 12h shifts with multiples?

How do you find it?

Do you feel you have enough time in the week to spend by yourself?

I have weekends off so every/every other weekend will be spent with my boyfriend.
