Normally wouldn’t ask but prayers needed

Krystyna

Last post I was so excited about having my induction date scheduled for tomorrow morning. I have been anxiously waiting to know how my baby is as I had a completely normal pregnancy (so I was told) up until getting diagnosed with gestational diabetes. From there it’s been a rollercoaster of new findings and uncertain answers. Ended up finding out my baby had short long bones in the legs and arms and is measuring to small. After being sent to high risk I found out my baby might have Down syndrome and I would not know until birth. She also said I had to meet with the cardiologist because the right side of her heart was larger than the left but she made it sound like no big deal at all. Finally after a 2 week wait I got to meet with the cardiologist only to find out that there is a 50% chance of my baby needing heart surgery within the first few days of life. The other alternative is that the heart fixes itself in that time. Still unsure about any chromosome effects. Had to cancel induction to schedule for Sunrise Children’s Hospital with a more skilled doctor. Calling his office tomorrow to schedule my new induction time. Hoping it is soon. Technically suppose to deliver by the 23rd because I recently also had to start insulin. Every day is a new thing. The only consistency is morning sickness has not left this entire pregnancy and all docs agree that she is definitely a girl. Need prayers for my babygirl Zoie! Thank you- from a very stressed mama.
