No Romance

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 2 years now and I have yet to get anything special from him. No flowers. Card. Special dinner nothing he has been struggling with finding work so I've been working my ass off this past several weeks so I can do something nice for my birthday next month and a part of me is hoping that he is planning something also but deep down I know that's not gonna happen....what is wrong here ???🙄 and is this enough to just say forget it and move on
