Considering Nipple piercings

To any of you ladies who have one or both nipple pierced, what was it like to have to bear yourself to a stranger? I understand that the piercer would be expected to be professional and that there is nothing wrong with breasts and all that, but just the fact that I'm not exactly outgoing makes me feel like it could be very nerve racking. I really think that I would enjoy having the piercings though. My breasts are slightly uneven in fullness and I think this would help me feel a little better about it. I am much more comfortable with it than I was growing up but this could one step farther! :)
