So two high school students have been dating for 2 years. Over time their parents get to know each other and it just so happens both set of parents are devorced. The boy's mom starts dating the girls dad.

So at first it was a weird inside joke they all laughed about but after a while the parents get married and start shaming their still dating kids, who are now step siblings, to try to make them stop dating. They're calling the kids gross, asking them what other people will think about dating your sister/brother.... just making life difficult for them to try to break them up. Also at this point these two kids are now living in the same house, and probably have some weird rules about being alone together that a brother and sister usually would have I would think.

They now have to wait over a year until they're both 18 to even move out.
