Is it normal to spend $350 on an infant car seat?

My significant other and I after much debate have FINALLY decided on an infant car seat. We like the high quality materials and all the features of this particular car seat but I can’t help but cringe a little when I look at the price.

***Just to clarify this isn’t me bragging about being able to afford high end items for my baby. It’s just me curious how many others have also spent this much on a car seat***
