My ex might want to get back with me

So I was at my baby daddies house when he wasn’t there and It was just his parents home . I was stopped by so that they can see the baby bc it’s been a few weeks . He’s mom randomly ask me how my dating life has been . She caught me realll off guard like we usually don’t talk about stuff like that . Anyway I told her nothing really just focus on on my baby and I which is true . But then a few minutes later I go down stairs to talk to his dad and he said some female told me who lives In this house (which there’s only two his lesbian friend and his mom) and I guess he told her that he has been wanting to get back with me . But idk if he was just saying that bc he wants me to be with his son . He really wanted us to work out he even offered for me to live at his house when We found out I was pregnant . We were together for 3 years .

So I’m thinking the reasons why his mom asked was bc he asked his mom to ask . What do y’all think ?
