Dilation check?

When do the doctors start checking if you're dilated or not? I'm 34weeks and have an appointment at 36 weeks. Will they check me then? I have a unbearable amount of pressure on my pelvic bone already

I've been to OBs that start to check weekly at 36 weeks. A past OB didn't until 38 weeks. Just depends I guess. I'm sure if you complain a about a specific issue they would check regardless.

Mine didn’t check until 39 weeks and she asked if i wanted to be checked, she wasn’t going to if I didnt want to be which I found odd

Mine started at 35 weeks, today she checked again at 36

With my first I got checked starting from 36 weeks on. With this doctor I got checked at 36 only because I went in for contractions and then I didn’t get checked again until 38 weeks bc I requested it and a sweep !

I got checked at 33 weeks in the hospital (thank goodness they did bc I went from a 0 to a 2 in two hours, then 12 hours later I was at a 3). 
I will be checked again at 36 weeks if she stays in that long.

Mine started checking at 36 weeks, i was 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I’m now 37 weeks and 2cm dilated. Honestly depends on your dr and their practice.
