Did they move your scheduled c-section?

Question

I have a scheduled c-section on Feb 20th. I’m only 35 weeks so I definitely want baby to stay put for a little longer but I have been having contractions on and off for the past 3 hours. They aren’t consistently timed apart but definitely are contractions. 
I have my 36 week apt on Monday and I know they plan on checking my cervix. 
If I am dilated will they move my csection date up? Since this is baby#2 I’m so afraid I’m going to go into labor and not get to the hospital in time for a csection. My son‘s birth was extremely traumatic due to Shoulder Dystocia and meconium aspiration so a vaginal birth is not happening.

This is baby #2 for me as well. I was checked at my 36 week appointment and was 2cm. I was convinced I wouldn't make it to my scheduled c section since my water broke with my 1st at 37.4. My doc will not move up my c section date (it's at exactly 39 weeks) and I have been in L&d for monitoring having contractions every 2-3min but because I wasn't dilating more they sent me home. I was told they need to prove I am in active labor to go ahead with the c section before 39 weeks. I was bummed at first but now realize if he's not ready I don't want to force him to come just yet. :)

I am having a scheduled c section at 39 weeks in UK. I was told that it would not get scheduled sooner, but if I go in to labour before then they would treat as unplanned c sec that way. Would be worth asking, but for health of baby they won't move my planned date forward for any reason x
