so we all know that living in an apartment complex isnt the most private experience in a sense right ? I've been living in a complex for a couple years now I usually know what to expect regarding neighbors and noise it's not a big deal to me I can live with it.

my neighbors however decided they dont like the way I love though.

my complex allows dogs, when I filled out my application I informed them, I have a dog. I didnt necesarially tell them what breed or anything like that. they didnt ask.

my neighbors diagonal to me are apparently terrified of dogs. (I guess dont live in a complex that allows them then??)

anyways. i went out to walk my pup one day and honestly she isnt the friendliest to strangers so i make sure to be responsible and keep her a great far distance from people that's a non issue. but we walked out and I see my neighbor who live diagonal towards us in the parking lot so I decide to go the opposite way as to not disturb her. well just my luck, someone I've personally never seen before is walking by with their tiny yorkie who surprise surprise, wasnt on a leash. so this pup ran up to my dog, ok no biggie. but my neighbor sees this and just freezes.

whatever the day goes on.

the next day I get a call from my landlord saying I need to keep control of my pet and not let her run around outside the complex, that they dont allow this here.

she refused to let me give my side of the story 😅😅

made me feel very welcome.

NOW (unrelated)

I have new downstairs neighbors, who just moved in a couple of weeks ago. i make sure to keep my dog away from them and everything. she hasn't been an issue. but we just got a little heads up from another super that THEY just complained about us for being to loud?? come on! I really cant catch a break. my SO works the night shifts so he leaves at 2:30 PM comes back 3 AM. hes as quiet as could be when coming in, jumps in the shower then goes straight to sleep. I understand maybe the walking around at 3 in the morning isnt fun but theres not much he can do about that. he then wakes up at 12 and leaves again.

I'm literally alone the entire night and I'm 39+ weeks pregnant so I know im not jumping around renovating the apartment or anything, I'm practically in bed 24/7 cause of my lack of social life Haha. so how the hell are we being so disturbingly loud?? I dont understand how it's our fault that the connecting staircase is very creaky, we try our best. 😭😭

I've just been feeling so attacked by the neighbors around here I dont even know what to do anymore.
