I just found out I failed the 1 hour, and I'm anemic. Yaaay

Failed both tests! I had gestational diabetes  now with both my pregnancies. Let me break a myth just because you get gestational diabetes when pregnant doesn’t mean you did something to cause it. The healthiest active people have gotten it and some of the most overweight have not had it. It’s all about the hormones in your placenta that can cause you to be insulin resistant while being pregnant once you give birth it will go away. However you are at a higher risk to get type 2 diabetes later in life so you may want to try to stay active and healthy. It’s nothing you have done or can change it’s out of your control it’s just how your body works.

I failed my 1 hour and taking my 3 hour on Wednesday. Its crazy to me because I’m pretty strict in my diet and work out 4-5 days a week. Hopefully I pass the 3 hour one 🤞🏼
