Freaking out

My son was diagnosed wit STREP THROAT... but he has a rash from literally is head to his feet w/high fever. Doc said the rash is because of strep. But I’ve came across on google called “SCARLET FEVER” And his symptoms are jus what scarlet fever says! He has an appointment tomorrow morning. I am very scared. Due to reading things about it could possibly turn into something way worse.

He’s on antibiotics for strep. My 11y/o son...

What do anyone know about scarlet fever.
