Typically, how long is the process of IUI?

My Husband and I have been ttc for 13 months. Our next step is to seek a fertility specialist. We want to try IUI. I'm very curious how long is the process, including all the test.

They bring u in on cd 3 for bloodwork and baseline ultrasound... u take meds while on ur period. Iui is around ovulation, then two week wait.

I would say a total of 3 months depending on RE schedule. First appt was in November. Schedule bloodwork, ultrasound along with SIS, Followup appt. just started meds today will have another U/S next week to determine trigger shot.

Wasn’t too long! We hadn’t done any testing at all, went for our initial consult in October then had all the testing and had our first IUI cycle in December

From my medicated experience, starts day one of your cycle.
 Day 3 bloodwork.
 If medicated (clomid/femara), day 3-7 or 5-9 of pill poppin.
 A day or 2 before expected ovulation, diagnostic ultrasound to look at lining and follicles. Ovidrel is administered if at optimal time. 
Next day or 2, sperm collection and iui. 
The iui procedure is about 10 min if no complications. (Both my past ones were 45 mins due to shy cervix).
Overall about 14/15 days on medicated. I dont have experience unmedicated or with gondro's.
2 week wait is just a waiting game on your own as usual.
