Hate to be that girl, but could I be pregnant?
My last period started on January seventh, and lasted till the twelfth. I am on the pill, however obviously don’t take it when I’m on my cycle. My husband and I figure that if a baby happens in that one week, we will just roll with the punches and be happy!
Anyway. Last Thursday (the 17th of January) I ended up throwing up at about 10am. I have been nauseous on and off since then (have not thrown up) and it’s now the 25.
My breast are a LITTLE tender, but half of me thinks that I’m just imagining that.
I have taken a two clear blue tests and both came back negative (which I expect because Even if I am pregnant I’m not all that far along).
Here’s the weird part. I have never had violently bad reactions to seeing blood. I have worked in the medical field in the past and seen a LOT of blood. However I just donated blood and was fine until I saw the gauze bandage they put on my arm after the fact. I promptly almost fainted. Then again the next day, I was helping my husband with some tonsil stones and there was just a teeny tiny bit of blood. Tunnel vision, my lips turned blue, i was pale, shaking, my fingers and toes were tingling and numb and I was shaky for the rest of the evening.
I talked to my mother in law who is in the medical field and asked her if it was common for a sympathetic nervous system reaction to change so drastically so quickly. She said she had never really heard of that and the only thing she could think of was that maybe I am pregnant, because random things change when women get pregnant.
I don’t know what to think. I have been more emotional and more tired than usual the last couple of weeks, but other than what I have stated above I don’t think I have any other symptoms.
As for sex life, my husband and I use the pill as our only contraceptive and we are active about twice a week probably. So it’s not IMPOSSIBLE. I started this months pills on the 13th of January, if that matters.
Thank you ladies for sticking with me and reading through all this! I know it will just be a matter of waiting to see what happens in the next few weeks, but I wanted to get unbiased opinions on the possibility of such a thing. Thank you!
