Develop a dog allergy?

So my husband and I are moving in with a couple of our friends who have a dog. We do not own a dog, but our friends we lived with before owned a dog and my family has owned dogs forever.

I’ve been super itchy when I hang out on the couch that’s in the living area (where the dog is allowed to be). I haven’t seen any crazy rashes, but I’m just itchy in random spots. It goes away after a while when I’m not on that couch.

Has anyone developed a pet allergy while pregnant?? I’m 19 weeks.
