My husband and I went in for our 8 week ultrasound today. I am 8 weeks, 3 days as of today. The baby measured 8 weeks 4 days, but they said they could not find the heartbeat and that I’m miscarrying. Now I don’t really know if I’m just in denial, but how is my baby measuring perfectly with no heartbeat? I opted to do things naturally just in case they were wrong, because you hear those stories sometimes. Our doctor was extremely insensitive about it and basically gave me no advice other than my 3 options to terminate or miscarry. I’m extremely heartbroken and confused and need some help. Has anyone gone through this and still gone on to have a healthy pregnancy? Or is this it for me and my baby? This is my first pregnancy and I have had no complications to this day. Just very tired and sore breasts. Do I get a second opinion? Have them do another ultrasound in a week or two? Or just wait it out and see if I start to miscarry? 😔
