Labor close or far?

So last doctors appt i was 50% efffaced and 2cm dialated before that appt i was having lots of braxton hicks and a couple of painful contractions, my doctor did a membrane sweep but ut didnt work for me, i lost small pieces of my mucas plug, but now im not even feeling braxton hicks anymore??? Why is that??? No real contractions just my pelvic bone and inside thighs super sore
