Adding someone you go to school with but never talked to?

So I’m in graduate school and saw a guy that I went to school with in undergrad in my same building. He’s a 1st year in his program and I’m a also 1st year (not in the same class) but we’ve never talked. I just see him walk down the halls every here and there. I found him on Facebook and want to add him but feel weird doing that since we’ve never talked. He’s caught me staring at him though LOL but I don’t add him and make him think I’m a stalker. Some times I think that if he were interested I me he would add me.

What do you think? Is it creepy ?
