First trimester: hair fall?

I’m 8 weeks today, and my hairfall is insane!! Bunches fall out! I’ve cut back on using the hair dryer and straightener but no improvement ! Falling in bunches :( anyone else facing this issue? Any suggestions what to do?

Did you get your thyroid checked? Mine went out of wack when I got pregnant and it makes me shed a lot more than normal (not bunches)

I went through the same thing for about 2-3 weeks. Then it stopped and my hair is back to normal. However, one of my aunt’s fell through out her pregnancy. My mom’s cousin, same thing. Except she had bold patches by the end of her pregnancy, then all her hair grew back after she gave birth. So hopefully it stops falling like mine did. And it too was around that 8 week period.

Are you taking a prenatal vitamin and eating healthy? Sometimes hair loss can be a sign of nutrient deficiency. While pregnant your fetus absorbs a lot of nutrients and can leave you without enough.
