Is it safe for my 7 month old to consume gelatin?

I’m wanting to mix it with fruit for a sore throat remedy. Any advice for sore throat remedies for 7 month old infants would be greatly appreciated.

I have never heard of gelatin being used for a sore throat remedy in babies. Glycerin is a option they use here in the UK.

I bet you could call your pediatrician to ask. My sons use a group of pediatricians and one is always on call when they are closed for questions like this. Hope your little one feels better soon!!!

My mamaw used to give my mom warm jello water (jello that wasn't hardened/refrigerated yet). My mom still does it to this day (she lost her mom at 9, and she's 50 now).
