What if partner is sick when I go into labour???!

Me and my DP were discussing last night..
What will we do if he is unwell when I go into labour? Is he not allowed in the delivery room. Everyone seems to be coming down with something around us. Flu-like illnesses and the sorts.
Him not being there would be the worst thing in the world.
Not due until feb 13th but it just made us wonder??

Boost your immune system from now, and try not think about it too much. 
Make warm lemonades, honey and ginger. 
And if he is sick most likely you too, I don’t think they won’t let him in, perhaps he will need to wear a mask.

My husband and I both had horrible colds and he was there being an amazing labor coach and taking photos the whole time. He did have to wear a mask but he would have had to anyway because I had twins and they make you give birth in an OR just in case you need an emergency c section.

Omg I was just worried about the same thing except I'm worried about a simple cold ☹️ I just got sick at 37 weeks and usually when I'm getting better my husband and daughter start getting sick.

Has he gotten the flu shot? Even if he gets the flu, if you have the shot it’s supposed to make it less intense

Unless he actually has the flu, I don’t think they wouldn’t let him in. He should be staying hydrated, vigilant about washing hands before eating or touching his face, and getting enough rest
