Baby yogurt

Ok so I bought baby yogurt for my 9 month old not realizing the packaging says 12+ months on it... she loves it but it seems to be binding her up, we mix it with baby cereal and she will eat a whole cup in one sitting... yes I know babies aren't supposed to get dairy till 12+months, I had been putting a couple oz of whole milk in with her formula, till her dr bitched at me, cause formula was getting expensive and it wasn't binding her up so I don't understand why the yogurt would be... I guess what I want to know is if y'all think I should quit giving her the yogurt, she really likes it so I hate to take it away from her but I feel like it's probably not good for her if its gonna keep binding her up
