Woah. Prison relationships

I just started watching love after lock up and I’m on season 1. Am I the only one that thinks this is so ridiculous? This woman Andrea is nuts and has no regard for her kids. She met a man while he was in prison serving 18 years and made plans to marry him a month after his release. He lived in a different state and wasn’t able to travel because of parole so she forced her 3 kids (2 teenagers and a pre schooler) to go meet him. She just kept saying things like “ your little sister is going to have a dad, you guys are going to have a dad and our family will finally be complete because the older you get it’s hard to be a single mom” “we need to get married to be a family” her teenage son expressed his concerns and told her that they’re already a family and That her marrying him won’t automatically change that. Her teenage daughter expressed that she was uncomfortable and didn’t want to drive all the way out there and stay with him for the weekend because they don’t know him. She ended up forcing them to go and I felt so bad for them. When they met the guy he kind of caressed the teenage daughters hair and said “so you’re Nyla huh” it was so cringeworthy
