Symptoms of bc

So I have SUPER bad period cramps, my mom and my aunt both had endometriosis when they were younger so I’m guessing that’s what I have... my doctor recently prescribed me some bc pills to help with the cramps but my mom wants to make sure I know all the possible side effects of it before I decide to use it. So anyone out there that uses bc maybe want to give some info on it? I’ve heard it causes weight gain, hormonal imbalances, and possible sterilization or causing you to have trouble getting pregnant after you quit taking them. Please respond (: I could really use some info on this! Thanks!
