Best birth control?

Hi girls! Just wanted to know if you guys could share your experiences both good and bad on what worked best for you. I got the depo shot yesterday and am feeling very nervous.

I loved my implant. It worked the best. I liked not having a period for almost a year and my bf never pulled out the 2 years we were together while i was on it and never got pregnant 🤷🏽‍♀️ I got pregnant after getting it taken out as planned

Don’t ever use the depo. I hated it. My cycles were never the same after it. I used it for 2 years. I wish I never had.

Condoms lol I’ve been with my husband 13 years and we are 34 weeks pregnant with our 3rd baby boy but my youngest is 6 and the way we prevented pregnancy was to use condoms I didn’t have to put any hormones inside of me that could effect me condoms are free easy to use and there is no hormones going inside of me it’s my preference

DO THE IMPLANT. This is coming from someone who is absolutely terrified of needles. Ever since I got this implant I have had no symptoms or anything. I don’t have to worry about it for THREE YEARS. Y’all if that don’t sound great I don’t know what does. No making sure you take your pill at a certain time. No weight gain. No periods. (After 4-6 usually) and once you get off you can get pregnant right away again. It’s so nice.

I did depo for 6 months gained 60 pounds in that time stopped using it. I did just condoms for 3 years and that was fine but needed something for my heavy periods. I liked the idea of hormone free IUD but the paragard made my periods worse. I switched to the mirena IUD for heavy periods. I love it my periods have stopped. I have also done pills and they're ok I'm good at taking them but nothing for my periods. I'm on month 8 of the mirena.

I liked the pills. I would only recommend them if you are very responsible. I had an alarm set for the longest until it came natural to me. I finally quit taken them so I could have a baby!

I was on the depo for years and had trouble conceiving. After I give birth I think I’ll go back on the pill.

None! They are all synthetic and horrible for your body! Use condoms or don’t have sex.
