Mirena & Ovarían Cysts

I have been experiencing really intense pain and cramping for 3 months. My period was also really inconsistent.. I went to my gyno and after a sonogram, they found 3.5cm hemorrhagic cyst on my left side and a super small dermoid cyst. My gyno mentioned sometimes the IUD does cause cysts.

I have had the Mirena for 2.5 years and this is the first time it’s happened to me. I am thinking about taking the IUD out because the pain from cysts is really unbearable 😫

Has anyone with a Mirena found they form cysts easily?
