Babies in daycare and getting sick

My son is now 10 months old and has been attending daycare full time since around 4 months old so I could go back to work full time. It seems like since he’s started he’s been sick ALL THE TIME.

We’ve had countless colds, 3 stomach viruses, bronchitis, RSV, flu (even with a flu shot), and now topping off the list is pink eye. He’s had multiple doctors office visits and 3 children’s hospital visits due to his regular doctor recommending we go there when he had RSV and the bronchitis, etc.

Is this normal for a baby in daycare to be sick like this? I swear it’s like every other week its something new. I’m getting really frustrated because i try really hard to keep him healthy but obviously he’s around other babies all week when i am not there.

How often does your child get sick? What can i do to help him keep from getting all these sicknesses?! I feel like I’m doing something wrong here and i just want my son to be healthy!! 😩
