Did you (or will you) sleep train your baby?

Question

I'm so curious to see the percentage of people who sleep train versus those who don't. No criticism either way. I think in the US, sleep training culture is huge but it seems as though it's not really a thing elsewhere in the world. I believe other cultures are more into bed sharing and such. My baby started in a bassinet beside my bed but then out of necessity (nobody was getting ANY sleep around the 4 month timeframe), we started safely bed sharing and I'm loving it.

My son has slept with me since we brought him home and I have no intentions of putting him in his bed

We didn't necessarily "sleep train". We were just proactive with teaching our daughter how to sleep from the get-go. We always promoted good sleep habits as well (aka no bed-sharing, no rockers, no swings, no rocking and holding to sleep, etc). We had her sleeping through by 5 weeks.

We’re actually going to be following a French sleep training method so it’s definitely a thing in other countries

I’m in the US. I didn’t sleep train, mostly because I didn’t have to. My boy slept 7-8 hours at night by the time he was 7 weeks old. I just got lucky with a good sleeper

I live in the US and haven’t “sleep trained” my son he’s now 18months plus I’ve never ignored him when he cries 🤷🏻‍♀️ not everyone is the same

I bought a course and I’m heavily researching and implementing sleep training techniques already and teaching them to my husband! :) 
We are very physically fit and healthy people who value our 😴 precious sleep! 
My baby is 3 weeks old and has about 3 hour stretches on a good night! But we won’t see real progress till about 4-6 weeks!

I’m torn.. right now my son is 3 months and we bedshare and I like it except that he punches my in the face when he wakes up sometimes 😂

Both of my kids went to their own beds and rooms by 2.3/3 months. I didn’t really try to sleep train though because they weren’t old enough. I ebf both for over a year so I just went back and forth to their room. By about 11/12 months I started actually sleep training and cio. I was weaning so I started weaning nights first because by then they didn’t need to nurse through the night and they slept better once they stopped waking up to eat.  I just let them cry for 5 minutes at the most then calmed them and repeated and within a few days they slept great and put themselves to sleep. They’re 5 years apart...co sleeping or bed sharing was just never something we wanted to do. My husband and I enjoy watching our shows and having that alone time before bed.

I didn’t sleep train mine... I just let him sleep how he wanted at night (which was rough on me for a bit) and it took until he was 4 months old but since then he has slept through the night. I wouldn’t know how to begin to sleep train.
