Natera- propionic acidemia

Got my results today , I found out I am a carrier of propionic acidemia. Pretty scary never even had a clue I would be a carrier ! My babyfather getting tested isn’t an option ... so that sucks.

They said the chance my baby would be born with it was like 1 in 100,000 but I’m still really scared. What quality of life is that for my kid you know? How am I going to deal with potentially carrying a kid that probably won’t live past there teenage years. I’m only 20. I’ve been in tears all day .. I can get an amino but would have to wait till I am 16 weeks and wouldn’t get the results until I’m about 20 weeks ! I know it’s a big if. I’m really scared though. I don’t want to carry a baby for 9 months for it to die or suffer. Nor do I want to wait 20 weeks for a termination if it comes back positive. I’m so scared has anyone been diagnosed as a carrier ? Of anything ... idk what to do tbh
