Husband started smoking

So I know my husband will have an occasional cigar if he's having a special guys night but I found a pack of cigarettes in the house. No offense to those that do but this is extremely concerning to me and it's honestly a turn off.

When I asked him about it he got completely defensive as it turns out this is something he does at least weekly.

I've also noticed in the last few months he's been complaining about chest pains and breathes heavier at night so I'm worried and not sure how to approach this so he doesn't get mad again.
