My soon to be husband is expecting me to be a housewife.

My fiancé and I are getting married in a couple of weeks. Throughout our relationship, I’ve cleaned, and he’s cooked.

We both work full-time jobs. I get home and clean the apartment, and then he cooks dinner. Not to mention, I’m pregnant and miserable.

Recently, he’s been asking me to cook everyday. He comes from a culture of the traditional “woman does the cooking and cleaning”.

His sister in law is a stay at home mom, and I think that’s where he’s getting this idea.

Yesterday, he asked me to make dinner, when he had stayed home all day due to being gassy 😒 which already irritated me, because I NEVER miss a day of work.

I told him no, and that he hadn’t done anything all day - he could make dinner. He said he’ll just starve.

Finally, I preheated the oven and went to bed.

Am I being ridiculous? Or is he?
