MTHFR

After our fifth loss I just found out I am heterozygous MTHFR.

I finally got a referral for an RE.

I will be seeing her the first week of March but I insisted my OB did any further testing possible. I had a feeling I had this as it’s not commonly tested for.

He doesn’t seem so concerned but I have a few

friends who see an RE and say it is a big deal.

I am starting 5mg of folate and B12.

I’m just curious- why are people with MTHFR told to take baby aspirin?
