Help!

On Jan 29th I went to the Er for spotting my hcg level was 74, they told me that my ultrasound looked like I was miscarrying but never went over it with me and why. On Jan 31 they retested my blood, got a call back the following Monday said my levels were rising fine and to come to my first appointment on Feb 22. Has this every happened to anyone?? Where the er told you that you were miscarrying but you were just really early??
