We Want Out!

My husband and I have been renting a house owned by his parents for 3 years now. We are ready to move on because there are lots of major problems with the home that they refuse to address. These issues were known before we moved into the house. We want to move out, but don’t want to leave them in a bad situation. We are willing to help them work on it to get it ready to sell but we want out. I need advice on how to tell them in a nice way!!

A little back story: they lived in the house right before we did. They left a lot of their belongings there just because they didn’t want to mess with taking them. It’s a ten acre lot with 4 barns full of stuff and a 5 bedroom house that still has a lot of their things inside.
