I'm due May 6th. Is April 21st too late for Baby shower? One of my friends will be hosting at home and most of the food will be catered by her. Meaning a lot of logistics can be managed last moment. The reason I choose that date is because my mom is due to arrive a day before.i would like her to attend. Also, is a baby shower typically a all women's event? Is it okay to have the families invited instead? This is my second baby. I really do not want gifts because I havepst things left from my elder one. Can I request to have gift cards instead?

As long as you are ok with the date then it is perfectly fine. I would suggest not asking for gift cards it sounds like you are asking for cash. I suggest asking for a book for new baby or diapers and wipes. Congrats.

My family never has baby showers “just for women”. We use it’s always a party but for a baby lol

Yes it’s all fine I would just be worried about the due date if anything but it sounds good to me I’m due may 3 and having mine March 10 just cuz I’m already tired by the end of the day so before I start getting more exhausted And I’m having a coed shower so men and women and I’m doing a diaper and wipe shower or my registry
