Car seat? Forward or still rear facing?

Has anyone put their toddlers car seat forward facing? When did you do it, and why?

Still rear facing because why would I choose to have her forward facing when its been proven to be drastically less safe than rear facing.... and I have a car seat that can rear face up to 55 lbs so..

Still rear facing. Plan on rear facing as long as possible since it's the safest and their spines are not "mature" enough yet. His seat has a high weight and height limit so there's no rush.

Still rear facing and have no plans to switch him. My plan was at least 2 but knowing how much safer it is, I just can’t bring myself to flip him.

Still rear-facing - my son is still fine with it and it’s far safer so I guess we’ll keep things that way as long as we can.

My son couldn’t stand to tear face anymore. He’s likes being forward facing so he can see all the cars driving around. He also likes to identify traffic lights

We were rear facing and planned on staying so until my son was at least three. However, a couple of months ago I read the rear facing limits on his car seat and realized that even at 27 pounds he had maxed out the weight limit to continue rear facing in that car seat. So, we flipped him. If you do plan to continue to rear face your child make sure you read the weight, height, and age limits for rear facing in YOUR car seat.

We are 50/50. One car is rear and one is forward. When we went on vacation we borrowed a car and the car seat would not fit rear facing, so she had to go forward. When we got back, my husband preferred her forward facing and flipped his. She’s only in that car seat for two miles a day on the way to daycare, so I didn’t say too much. My car is rear facing and the one we drive the most. I plan on keeping her there until she hits the height limit, we have about two more inches and then we have to flip her.

Rear-facing. My daughter is petite. She and my 9 month old weigh about the same, share some clothes, and their hands and feet are even almost the same size. She definitely isn't big enough to turn around.

I have a van. My oldest sits in the 3rd row. My 2 year old sits in the second row. I still have him rear facing. He's petite so he has not outgrown the seat and he likes to see and interact with his sister. I see no reason to make him front facing at this point.
