Someone help, pregnant & just lost my insuranceloop

Hey ladies, so my hubby just got let go from his job. He had a really good job with benefits. I had met my deductible & now it was just waiting time for baby. I am 32 weeks, so she could come any day now.

Well I'm sure we will have insurance at least for the month of February, but of course idk about March. I am due March 29. Has anyone gone through this? We live in texas, I'm sure I wont qualify for Medicaid so it may have to be chip. So that means changing Drs. That's if they take me. We could get cobra but we aren't sure how long it will take for the papers to arrive for that.

It sucks because he is a great husband, dad & tried his hardest at work. It was messed up they let him go, but I'm sure he will find something soon. Till then idk what to do about the baby!!

Any ideas? Thanks ladies....

Edit: so I'm hoping cobra arrives before March 1st, I'm just worried it wont that's definitely our 1st choice. Also since I'm currently waiting for my citizenship, I am a legal resident. I cant get Medicaid, just pregnancy chip. Only a few drs take it.
