Wanting to get ready for baby and hubby says no money.

This is our second and my husband kept on saying don’t buy anything for the baby now we will start buying in feb onwards once our tax return comes in. We love in a very expensive city and basically. Even living off one income and acquired some debt that is affecting our credit score. All this won’t be a problem as starting in June he will officially be done his degree and we would be free and clear. Anyway it’s feb now and I need to start getting ready for this baby due early May and he just told me today that we don’t have any money and the tax return is all going to go to the credit cards to get our score up so that we can get a loan. I totally get it, and he’s very responsible, but I’m feeling so hurt and upset. The main thing I wanted to get was a dresser as we don’t have any room for anything else till we move In July anyway and he’s denying even that. I’m really hurt and upset because there are things we will obviously be needing and I just don’t know how he plans on getting any of it.

We thankfully had a baby shower early so we got some essentials but I have nowhere to put them.

Just feeling a little sad tonight .
