8 week old eating 6 ounces?

So my 8 week old son just ate 6 ounces two times in a row (1 1/2 hours apart) without throwing up or anything.  Is he hitting a growth spurt? I feel like that’s a lot of milk for his little body

Definitely a growth spurt. My boy is 9 weeks old tomorrow and has been going back and forth between 5 and 6 ounces every couple of hours and then he sleeps for a long time waking up just long enough to eat. He just finished 7 ounces! Haha. He just started leap 2 yesterday and has been having growth spurt behavior all week.

Mine is 2 months as well. He eats 4-5 oz every 3 hours. Could just be a growth spurt.
