Baby Due 2/20

Va

But decided to make her appearance on 2/4.

I started having mild contractions around 6am, but tried to sleep it off until 11am. My husband decided to call into work in case the contractions got stronger, which they did. Around 1:00pm, we decided to head to the hospital. Once we were admitted, The contractions were still pretty light.. meaning they were stronger than BH but not strong enough to hurt.

Once they hooked up up to the machines, they realized my BP was pretty high.

They decided to admit me based on just my BP.

Long story short, baby’s heart rate continued to drop more and more as time went by. I tested positive for preeclampsia, which is what I had always thought I had but never showed up in my urine tests.

Baby Magnolia Kate was born at 11:11pm, at 4 pounds and 12 ounces. She had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck 4 times, and once around her body.

Lord bless her, because she didn’t need to be transferred to the NICU, and she is completely healthy. We’re home and doing great!
