C Section at 38 weeks(what do i need?)

So I have gestational diabetes and high fluids, my last baby had gotten stuck (shoulder dystocia) and my 2nd daughter is already big so they are doing a c section at 38 weeks.
Im also having my tubes tied at the same time to avoid having to have a 2nd surgery. 
What essentials did you need for aftercare? I know what i had for a natural birth. But anything in particular for mamas who have a c section or tubal?

Honestly, you don’t need much at all. Just some high-waisted underwear and pads for when you run out of hospital-supplied stuff. Any high waisted comfy pants are fine but I don’t recommend spending much if you need to buy some because you’ll only need them for 2ish weeks

I have a csection scheduled. I’ve read a boppy pillow is crucial to keep the baby off your incision, as are granny panties that go up over your belly button - other underwear will rub against your wound. A small towel is also useful for the ride home to protect your incision from the seatbelt. Good luck!

I bought adult diapers and it was the best decision I made! I would "normally" wear a medium in them, but I got a large so it is lose around my incision. I liked it better than giant undies and mattress pads.
