Baby Isla Dove, Born 2/2

Isla Dove was born 2/2 at 10:42 AM. Today is her one week birthday! She is very sweet and watchful, always has her eyes open which our pediatrician says is rare for a newborn 🕊

I love her more every day!

Also: tip for soon-to-be-mama’s headed to the hospital soon. Pack an aromatherapy diffuser with an essential oil blend you like. All the nurses remarked that my room smelled really nice! I also brought my Amazon Alexa which I used to play soft music, and little electric tea lights. It really created a beautiful soft atmosphere for my peaceful little baby to be born in. I packed lots of other things, but those were the MVPs, never ended up using most of the things I brought for myself, the hospital provided so much.
