Frustrated and confused

My period is 2 weeks late!? I don’t have sex and i havnt been stressed I just turned 19 and my friend said your getting older your hormones are changing too and I love her and I know she’s trying to help but it doesn’t makes sense to go from a pretty normal period to not having one for 2 weeks!? Ive also had my normal period systems but nothing happened so can anyone maybe tell me what’s going on?
