Are the classes worth it?

I am currently 23 weeks looking into Lamaze classes... I’ve asked a few girls around my town who are also pregnant ftm and they aren’t doing them... is it worth it to do a Lamaze class? I’m super nervous since I am a ftm and don’t know what to expect in labor.

I would definitely suggest taking some sort of birthing class. As a labor and delivery nurse, I’ll tell you that being more prepared and having a rough idea of what to expect will help you be more calm.

Hypnobirthing instead. Expensive, so if you can't go to a class read the book and look on YouTube.

Do it! I have so many friends who didn’t take any classes, didn’t prepare, and their deliveries went totally off the rails. It’s better to be proactive in labor, and taking classes will help you with that.
