How much is your baby eating?

My son is three weeks and drinking 4oz every 3-4 hours, but the last few days he starts crying for more about 20-30 minutes after drinking. Anyone else in the same boat? I don’t want to over feed him, but he drinks it without spitting up. He does occasionally get the hiccups though.

My son is 3 weeks and he is doing the same thing. I actually think he grew an inch over night because he outgrew his newborns! I just bought more newborn diapers too and he is bustin out lol

Totally normal. My daughter at 4 weeks started taking 4 oz every 3-4 hours sometimes 5 oz at one sitting. She sees a neonatologist because she was in the NICU for 2 weeks after birth and is on oxygen because of pulmonary hypertension, she says that as long as she  isnt puking afterwards to feed her as much as she wants. She’ll know when she’s full.

You're at a growth spurt mark, mama! TOTALLY normal, just give him more by one ounce incraments. At 3 weeks my daughter took 5.5 ounces of pumped breastmilk in one feeding!

Yes i am also having this problem was so worried about over feeding him as he is still so small but i suppose they wouldnt want it if they were full x
