FINALLY

My husband and I have lived in an awful apartment for the past year! Literally the apartments parking lot floods after 5 minutes of heavy rain to the point it has ruined some people’s cars and has gotten water in ours once!

The whole complex is invested with roaches and we know this because when pest control came out they told us there’s literally nothing we can do to get rid of them because every building is like that.

When I was pregnant in my last trimester in July...in TEXAS our AC went out. We noticed it had been acting up for a week so I put in a request they never got to it till the day it went out and even then didn’t care that I was 3rd trimester pregnant and it was 80 degrees in my apartment at 9am they didn’t come until 3-4pm and that’s only because me and my mom called them at minimum 5 times to get it fixed. By the time someone came it was well over 90 degrees in the place.

AND on top of all this there was also a murder at this complex 😱 my husband goes out of town a lot so I have felt incredibly unsafe here with my daughter.

But now we just got approved for a beautiful 3 bedroom home in a neighborhood where our friends live and rave about it and we will stay there until we can afford to buy our own home. I’m so grateful God has provided this for us. My husband credit score is low so I was really nervous. But I’m so so grateful to get away from this place and be able to raise our daughter in a safe home with a backyard for her to be able to play in!
