Baby coming soon?

I’m 37w2d with our first rainbow baby. I started having contractions yesterday after doing the deed and they are consistent but when I went in I was not dilating enough. When they checked I was 1.5cm, 50% effaced and his head was at -3. I continued to have consistent but off and on contractions all night, and today they are getting stronger and I’m either losing my mucus plus or having some bloody show. I have had multiple false alarms in the last week so I hate to go in again and be disappointed. Anyone have suggestion for a ftm on how soon I should go back and get checked? I do work at our hospital so I could walk over if needed.
