Hello again  ladies ,im n
In need of advice due to my kids got the flu on sun(so it spread to all 5,even me).i just started taking the tamiflu and benteze (making tea with honey ,lemon)to get better ,even my kids im trying my best to keep them from getting worser .seems like it a long way to get rid of the flu.ok well i have my ob appointment to check my /gender ,and another one on Friday to my high risk specialist  to do the anatomy scan/gender there too.so if you have the flu ineed to cancel my appointments. What do i do to get better quick ?and how long does the flu last in kids /preggers?any advise

Yes. Youd need to rescedule ypur appointments. Flu typically lasts a week..  maybe a little less if you had flu shot (as it makes it milder) and are taking tamiflu (it doesnt let the virus multiply). 
Best thing is to drink a ton of fluids and take vitamin C and zinc... elderberry syrup is also good for flu.

Tamiflu is awful and not to mention expensive. Docs prescribe it just to make you feel like taking something is gunna help....I would never take that drug, especially pregnant!
Flu is a virus that has to run its course..keep up with the tea, lots of water and most importantly rest. Keep a close eye on your temp and wipe everything down in your house with a safe cleaner.

Just call your OB and see what they want to do. Remember that they are doctors and they typically don’t turn away sick patients 😂. If anything they might want to see you sooner. 
Definitely let them know before your appointments though because they might want to take special precautions like having you wear a mask and rooming you right away vs sitting in the waiting room.
