Does this look like a lip tie to anyone? My son is 7 weeks and we've struggled with breastfeeding from day 1. He has a hard time extracting milk from me when he feeds. I dont have a supply problem as i pump right after he eats sndand get plenty. I was told that the reason he was having troubles is that he was so small at birth (5 pounds) and that as he grew it would be easier for him. He's 8 pounds now and we're still having trouble :( we've been to see a lactation consultant 5 times now and were basically told at the last appointment that he would get better as he grew and they had nothing else they could do for us. Btw I've sent the picture to the pediatrician too but they're closed for the weekend. I just discovered this because he has a blister in the middle of his top lip from sucking and the Internet (which I know can be unreliable) said it may be a symptom of lip tie. Anyone have experience with one?
