Shower(please read first)

Have any of you had a baby shower this late in the pregnancy and actually able to enjoy it?

Im 35 weeks 2 days today..and still no baby shower. I know there is one planned its just a "surprise". I know no details of when or where or anything. Just that there is one.

Im not trying to sound like a selfish brat,because im totally appreciative of anyone doing anything for me. They didnt have too. But as of next weekend ill be over 36 weeks along. My body has been in SO much pain since like 20 weeks. Now its at the point of hurting to sit, walk, lay down..it all hurts. Everything is uncomfortable...i have no energy, barely get any sleep at night, i chase my 2 year old around all day, my appointments have started weekly, and recently found out baby turned head up. I have crazy anxiety/stress because im not ready for this baby to come yet! I hate being unprepared. I just feel like this far along im not going to be able to enjoy it.

All we have is clothes, mamaroo, and rock n play. No car seat, no diapers...i asked hubby if we could go car seat shopping and he says "why dont we wait on getting what we need for a little while. You never know what may happen"

I feel like im not gonna have any time to get stuff put together, washed, put away and ready.
